Staying Fit During Your Summer Vacation in Grand Prairie

We all know vacationing can lead to splurging on calories and slacking on the fitness routine, but your vacation in Grand Prairie doesn’t have to ruin that “summer bod.” Grand Prairie has a lot to offer when it comes to summertime fitness – and as an extra bonus,  it’s full of summer fun, too. So forget the hotel gym this summer, it’s time to get fit and play grand in Grand Prairie!

(Please note – you don’t have to be a Grand Prairie resident to enjoy these events!)

Swimming

What’s summer without the pool? Grand Prairie has a great combination of indoor and outdoor pools to get some splashing laps in.

Local Grand Prairie Pools

Swimming and water exercise does wonders for your body without putting the strain on your joints like running or land sports. Working out in the water allows you to use more muscles for better overall toning…and it’s fun! Grand Prairie offers a variety of aquatic programs, and one is just right for you.
