Santa brings cheer to Grand Prairie this holiday season for photos and gift wishes at these fun locations.
Children of all ages are invited to join Santa for photos at Snow Ho-Ho, an all ages event featuring fun crafts, photos with holiday characters, holiday performances, a polar express train and more. The event will be held on Dec. 12 at the Shotwell Library from 4-6 p.m. and Dec. 16 from 4-6 p.m. at the Main Library.
Santa is taking a trip to Epic Waters to hear Christmas wishes and take photos on Dec. 14 and 21 from 8-10 a.m. The event also includes a breakfast buffet, holiday craft time and a full day admission to the water park to enjoy after merry time spent with Santa. Advance tickets are required for this special event.
Santa has planned a day of fun for all to enjoy at Ripley’s Believe It or Not on December 14 and 21. The day begins with a warm breakfast at 9 a.m. where Santa will visit with families and lead fun crafts such as cookie decorating and sharing holiday wish lists. After sharing the morning with Santa, everyone can explore the oddities of all five Ripley’s attractions; Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Ripley’s Enchanted Mirror Maze, Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax, Ripley’s Moving Theater 7D and Ripley’s Impossible Laser Car. Tickets can be purchased online or by visiting The Palace during regular business hours.
Santa spends his weekends from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22 at Traders Village for photos and traditional Mexican holiday treats including tamales, atole, bunuelos, candies and pinatas. Donations for the photos go to the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce. Holiday gifts can also be purchased from thousands of dealers with items for all tastes and budgets.
